How much of your own teeth must be sacrificed?
This is the most common question and the biggest fear. The answer: usually much less than you think. For whitening, nothing at all. For a ceramic veneer, just a few tenths of a millimeter from the front surface of the tooth — thinner than a fingernail. A full crown is only necessary if the tooth already has a large filling or is damaged. We always recommend the solution that requires the least intervention while providing a lasting result in your specific situation — even if it means less revenue for us.

What most people ask
No, not if it is well-designed. A natural tooth is not uniformly white: it has shade transitions, the edge is more translucent, and the surface is finely irregular. Our dental technician shapes these manually on every piece of work. The "denture effect" usually happens when everything is made in a uniform, blindingly white shade — that is not what we do.
